A few years ago I tried to claim this. It was declined. After some 5 years I saw adverts offering help with claiming AA. I read so many reviews all from real people saying they had been granted AA after the team fom Johnathon Owen had assisted them. What did I have to lose in trying again, after all it was a no win no fee based service. So after getting a call and talking and explaing the situation the papers were completed. I received them,read them and then added all my medical reports related to each condition. This is vital in helping your claim and the more you can send the better. The form pages are very clever in how the questions are asked and laid out. With the experience of my assistant who knew how to complete the forms I sent it off. In about 4 weeks I had a letter from local Council telling me it had been approved for various help with Council Tax, then the second letter from Belfast arrived. DWP always send letters marked Belfast on the back. Well, happy days...full rate granted. Do not struggle and guess when doing this paper work. I see it as the cost of the fee is trivial to the annual amount tax free you will receive. I am sorry I can't remember who helped me, suffice to say you are a Diamond. Didn't know I could claim this. Saw an ad on FaceBook for this company and got in touch.spoke a lady who was very helpful and sympathetic filled out a form with me on the phone. The application arrived 2 days later. Check the form, signed it, and sent it off. 6 weeks later got a phone call from DWP to say I am entitled to it.
