Common Personal Independence Payment Questions
How much PIP could I receive?
PIP is made up of two parts, depending on how your condition affects you:
Daily Living Component
Support for help with everyday activities such as preparing food, washing, dressing, managing your money, managing medication or communicating.
- Standard rate: £76.70 per week
- Enhanced rate: £114.60 per week
Mobility Component
Support if you have difficulty moving around or planning and following journeys.
- Standard rate: £30.30 per week
- Enhanced rate: £80.00 per week
Depending on your circumstances, you may receive one or both components.
Some people receive over £195 per week, tax-free.
Is PIP means-tested?
No. Personal Independence Payment is not means-tested, which means your income, savings or employment will not affect your eligibility.
How do I secure my Personal Independence Payment?
You can apply for PIP yourself, however many people find the application process complex, and many applications are unsuccessful because the form is not completed in line with the assessment criteria.
Our team of specialist advisors can help guide you through the application process and ensure your circumstances are clearly explained.
We have a success rate of over 90% helping clients secure disability benefits.
There is no upfront fee. If your application is successful, we charge a £600 fee, which is typically covered by your first backdated payment.
All future payments are 100% yours to keep.
